Dornik is a London-based singer who is being hailed as a savior for British Soul/R&B.
“British soul/R&B is perennially terrible, which is to say a weak version of the real (US) thing,” said music critic Paul Lester in The Guardian. “Dornik’s is arguably the first decent UK version of a particular strand of sophisticated hi-tech studio-polished black American dance music since Loose Ends and 52nd Street. ”
Although Dornik’s music is obviously influenced by American superstars such as Michael Jackson, Maxwell, it remains creative and original with hints of electronica and 80s pop-synth.
Dornik’s will release his debut EP next year on PMR Records.
