Kevin Ross is destined to become an R&B sensation. Originally from Washington D.C., Ross attended Berklee College of Music where he was a Songwriting major. Already being compared to Stevie Wonder, Donnie Hathaway, and John Legend, Ross has been dazzling fans with his talent.
His soulful voice combined with his unique piano playing ability has already drawn the attention of music industry insiders.
“I’m addicted to great voices, which is why I can’t get enough of Kevin Ross,” said David Foster, Legendary songwriter and music executive who signed Ross to Motown Records.
Maxwell was so impressed by Ross’s talents that he invited him to be the opening act on his “Summer Solstice” Tour.
“I’ve heard many [performers]”, said Maxwell. “But none have Kevin’s ability to create timeless music. Your ears will never be the same.”
In addition to joining Maxwell’s tour, Ross recently performed at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. Other 2014 accolades include BET’s dubbing him a “Music Matters Artist” and AOL Music’s calling him, “Best New R&B Artist.”
Ross recently released an acoustic performance video of his song, “Dream,” from his debut EP, Dialogue in the Grey. This intimate performance displays Ross’ stunning voice and shows why he will be a future R&B superstar.
