D.C. native, Jaida has always been moved by symphony and orchestral music and got her start in music production by composing piano arrangements and string ensemble for stage plays. Her music took a different turn when she moved to Cleveland, OH and was immersed in R&B and hip-hop music. Since then, Jaida has worked with the likes of Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Dave “Jam” Hall, Keisha Cole, Lecrae, and Tak Matsumoto. In 2013, Jaida began to write, produce, and perform songs for on her own solo project. Her music, written to address cultural issues and inspire listeners, is a blend of indie R&B, pop, hip-hop, EDM, jazz, and alternative rock.
