Brenda Nicole Moorer began her musical career as a singer in the girl group NIA. Later, she sang background for Dave Hollister, Julie Dexter, and dozens of other artists. In 2011, Brenda released her debut album Songbird, which received heavy rotation on Pandora and UK radio stations.

Moorer followed the success of Songbird, with the release of her EP, For Lovers & Believers. On this collection of songs, Moorer teamed up with Jesse Fischer of Soul Cycle Music to create a vintage feel complete with laid back rhythms, heavy Rhodes, underlying synths, and heartfelt lyrics.

“I want my music to mean something to somebody,” said Moorer. “If I can do that then I’ve succeeded as an artist in every sense.”
