IhsAn is a D.C. based singer/songwriter whose career I’ve followed from the start. In 2014, I featured her in our monthly column, 5 Indie Artists You Should Hear and I also profiled her on a music website I used to run.

IhsAn’s latest release is an acoustic cover of Beyonce’s “Sorry” mixed with Prince’s “When You were Mine.” The song, titled “Purple Lemonade,” honors the memory of fallen musical icon, Prince, while giving a nod to Beyonce’s new album, Lemonade.
