In 2011, I discovered an amazing artist named Jenny Scott. The German singer/songwriter impressed me with her eclectic blend of jazz, soul, pop, and blues.
“I listened to people like Ella Fitzgerald, Joe Pass, and Nina Simone” Scott said in an interview with Six String Theories. “I was also heavily influenced by Bill Withers and Motown artists such as Gladys Knight & The Pips and Rita Wright.”
Scott has released two critically acclaimed EPs, A Three Song Collection and Things Called Love (which contains one of my favorite songs of all time, “Falling In Love Ain’t Free”). Her latest EP, Good Will Keep Coming, will be released in late spring or early summer and features five new songs that reflect Scott’s deeply personal approach to songwriting.
“Almost every song I sing is 100% personal and grew out of something I experienced,” Scott said n a 2014 interview with Mocha Man Style.
Scott has released the title track as the first single from the EP. “Good Will Keep Coming” encourages listeners to focus on the good things that are ahead when you are in a relationship instead of worrying what might wrong.
