Son Little (nee Aaron Livingston) blends elements of blues, soul, gospel, and conscious hip-hop into a mixture that’s expressive yet deeply personal. In addition to creating his own music, the talented singer/songwriter has worked with The Roots, Rjd2, and Mavis Staples.

His first solo album, simply titled Son Little is filled with guitar processing and choirs made from his looped voice. But when he sings with only an acoustic guitar, his music connects directly to your heart. Watch this video of Son Little, accompanied only by his soulful singing sister, Megan Livingston, and percussionist Jabari Exum, and feel your spirit being lifted.
