Miguel believes he and David Bowie are kindred spirits. Both artists have an affinity for fashion and both love to push musical boundaries.

To celebrate the recently deceased icon’s life, Miguel performed an intimate version of Bowie’s song “Space Oddity” at Los Angeles club Bardot.

“That song is just forever going to be classic,” Miguel said in an October interview with NME.

Miguel sang “Space Oddity” with an acoustic guitar accompaniment and transitioned into his single “Waves” from his album Wildheart. Watch the video below and share your thoughts on this tribute to David Bowie.

You can see more of Miguel at the 2016 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival which is set to take place June 9-12.
