Top 5 Performances from the 2014 Grammys

The Grammy Award Show is billed as the biggest night in music. This year’s show didn’t disappoint. There were great performances from a several artists that transcended genres and generations. Here are our picks for the best musical performances of the night:

“Drunk in Love” by Beyonce featuring Jay-Z

Power couple – Beyonce and Jay-Z – are ruling the music industry right now. This amazing performance solidifies their reign.

“Get Lucky” by Daft Punk with Pharrell Williams, Nile Rogers and Stevie Wonder

Stevie Wonder and Nile Rogers added some old-school credibility to this pop hit. Even Pharrell Williams’ hat could overshadow this performance.

“Radioactive” by Imagine Dragons and Kendrick Lamar

This rock/rap collaboration brought a frenetic energy that made the whole show more interesting.

“Medlley” by Robin Thicke and Chicago

It was good to see Robin Thicke add some class to his act with this collaboration with Chicago. I didn’t even mind listening to “Blurred Lines” for the billionth time.

“All of Me” by John Legend

John Legend is a talented singer, songwriter and pianist. This subdued performance allowed him to display all of those talents. I only wish Lindsey Stirling would have accompanied him on her violin.
